1. ACF
DetectIT-ACF allows you to subdivide your organization into security 'compartments'.
Each of these can be maintained with its own individual characteristics and
patterns providing much more flexibility than OS/400, where security is system-based.
In effect, this is like creating multiple AS/400s within a single machine. Different
workgroups can operate under their own rules for such facilities as time-out,
active sessions, shift control, terminal control, password control and profile
control.
- DetectIT-ACF
provides a quick and easy tool to maintain all users and has substantial interrogation
facilities.
- DetectIT-ACF
provides a gateway to other application software systems.
- DetectIT-ACF
enables the date control activation, suspension and deletion of profiles.
2. ASC
DetectIT-ASC allows you to tightly secure access into your application systems.
Once secured, access is only allowed via authorized menus and programs. Tools
are available to allow IT staff access only when authorized. DetectIT-ASC protects
the integrity of all your objects from changes, additions or deletions. It can
also monitor all objects to ensure no unauthorized changes have been made.
- DetectIT-ASC
allows access to data through a special utility command that displays the
information in a secure application system.
- DetectIT-ASC's
object security function provides the security administrator with ongoing
information relating to changes made to all objects in a specific library.
- DetectIT-ASC
file monitor allows you to keep watch on sensitive files.
3. MAP
DetectIT-MAP provides an easy to use menu and application program driver without
compromising security. Menus are consistent and easy to understand, but can
be tailored to the level of an individual's responsibility. DetectIT-MAP allows
you to set the processing environment, library list, job accounting details,
attention key processing and user program calls when accessing a different menu.
It is possible to have different job accounting codes for different application
systems per user profile, giving better accounting of application accesses.
The attention key processing can be activated using an electronic switch. Once
activated, the system can either use a specified program or one of the DetectIT
menus that you have created. No programming is required. ·
- DetectIT-MAP
can also be used to create different working environments; test, development
or the live environment; by simply controlling the associated library list.
- DetectIT-MAP's
menu system provides a controlled environment for profile adoption.
- DetectIT-MAP
provides control over the availability of menus and application systems.
- DetectIT-MAP
offers comprehensive interrogation and cross referencing facilities.
- The DetectIT-MAP
application driver allows you to define how your programs can be accessed.
4. EXM
Every organization needs to define its own corporate policy. Monitoring and
managing compliance with that policy is essential, ensuring the right balance
of control and operational simplicity is maintained. This is the role of DetectIT-EXM.
DetectIT-EXM allows auditors, system administrators and security officers to
check the compliance of AS/400 settings automatically against predefined policies.
All non-compliances are identified and reported. The integral health checker
provides a comprehensive snapshot of current security vulnerabilities and recommends
appropriate actions.
- DetectIT-EXM
accommodates different policy templates within the system.
- DetectIT-EXM
makes the creation of new policy templates a simple process.
- DetectIT-EXM
divides policy checks into different, distinctive policy groups.
- DetectIT-EXM
identifies and recommends correction of security weaknesses.
5. EBZ
DetectIT-eBZ allows you to securely use systems over LAN, WAN, RAS and VPN using
RSA SecurID. It will help you control how PCs and remote systems communicate
with your AS/400. It will strongly authenticate uses without compromising security.
By using token card identification cards you can positively identify your users
without the use of weak static passwords. The two fundamental areas that are
most vulnerable in e-business activity are controlling and securing the users
that access the AS/400.
- Token card authentication
to guard entry and control remote access with RSA SecurID.
- Provides the
facility to create separate Client/Server security environment for live business
transactions. It is virtually impossible to detect or prevent anonymous FTP.
- Controls and
has the ability to restrict request from client machines to AS/400 for activities
such as downloading information and order processing.
